Built in 1817, La Grille is set on the edge of the charming hamlet of Fresneau with its
honey-coloured stone walls and canal roof tiles. Surrounded by vineyards and fields of
sunflowers as far as the eye can see, it is the perfect haven for lazy days in the sun.
Beautiful Charentaise arched entrance gates open onto a large gravel sweep edged with
flowering shrubs and climbing roses.

The pool and cottage (with original bread oven) are nestled in a secluded walled garden,
filled with colourful borders and an abundance of passion flowers and hollyhocks.
Both the covered terrace and paved pool area are the perfect setting for enjoying hot
summer days and dining 'al fresco'.

The original character of the house, with its attractive stone fireplaces, exposed beams,
wood panelling and tiled and wooden floors throughout has been carefully integrated with
up-to-date facilities to create this charming and luxurious property.
